IMPORTANT OF PAPERS FOR LECTURERS

This time i want to share some info regarding to papers that all lecturers should produce. For masters and PhD's students please be noted that you should not only writing the articles or journals during your studies but also when you become lecturers.Now publish papers is one of the important things that lecturers should do for upgrading their post rank or gred for example upgrading from gred 45 to 51 and directly for increasing their salaries.

For example in uitm, for each lecturer they have to publish at least one paper each year so that they can achieve the SKT targets established by the university. Furthermore, for junior lecturer if they want  to conform their post as lectures they also have to produce at least one paper and have to attend for some internship programmed established by university and government.

And of course for Sponsored students especially TPM students they have to produce papers in order to confirm their post as lecturer.

Im sure that this is also happened to other universities which producing papers is one of the items that lecturers should do especially for research universities because nowadays the lecturers not responsible for teaching only but also to contributes in researches.

The papers include of technical papers, journals, articles, books, buletin, and more. All these papers can be published by online database, conference, and others.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TPM UITM

Most of us are not familiar with this scholarship especially for those who are not from uitm. actually there are some things you should know about tpm uitm before you apply for it and make sure you are meet with its conditions.

ok we go straight with main topic. what is tpm uitm?actually it was some kind of scholarship offer for postgraduate studies whether for masters students or phd students.

some requirement required as below:
1.open for all malaysian
2.available for postgraduate studies.
3.All university students can apply.
4.for future postgraduate and not for current postgraduate.
5.pointer above 3.00
6.age not more than 30 for master and 35 for phd.
7.candidates are willing to work in any branch of uitm as ordered.
8.allowance given to candidates(basically rm2700 for master and rm3200 for phd)
9.must passes all the interview session.
10.in general, candidates can continue their studies in both local and oversea universities.
11.application is through online.


TPM candidates are bond with the contract of:
1.7 years working with uitm as Lecturer
2.the candidates can continue their studies in other university but must serve uitm after the studies finished.
3.must complete the studies within the given period.
4.compensation is acted on candidates who are breach the above conditions with minimum of rm100 000.

thats were the main things you should know and if it is meet yours. please apply for it while the application is still open for now.

TPM 2015 POSTPONED

TPM 2015 is supposed to be open for application starting by 20 october 2015. but due to the problem occur in Uitm's technology center (INFOTECH), all the systems in uitm got problems included scholarship system or more specialize Staff scholarship and TPM.

we are excited to apply for this scholarship since we are waiting much times and finally this is happened but please do not depressed because there are some positive points related to this information. One is we know that this year there is TPM scholarship offered even the new date was not mentioned. Second, based on the offer before, for this year the requirement for applying TPM is lower than before since the minimum pointer needed only 3.00 above compared to last year as 3.5 above. This means many of us are  able to apply for this scholarship.

The offer also was opened for both PHD and master. so the scope still same as last year means that there are still much applicants needed.

So please always be alert so that we not missed this scholarship.

RISK OF MYBRAIN AND SLAB/SLAI SCHOLARSHIP

Each one of us really hope that we can get the offer of scholarship to continue our studies.but do we think that each one of scholarship have their own risk.the risk will come especially when the candidates were breach their contract.

For example each scholarship offer contract of finishing studies within certain period and if the candidates cannot finish within period given so they will have to get penalties.the penalties usually in term of having to pay back some amount of money to the government or universities as said in the contract.

So for the future candidates please be aware of this and try to accomplish all the agreed contract given.

ALLOWANCE FOR SLAB/SLAI (TENAGA PENGAJAR MUDA UITM)

We already know that slab/slai is some kind of scholarship offered by kpm.but how much allowance that given to slab slai candidates?.actually the candidates will get an allowance monthly during their studies.

For master and phd candidates the allowance given is rm2700/month and rm3200/month respectively.there are added allowance given for example thesis allowance,books allowance and more.some of these allowance given only once for whole period of studies.

For me this is already enough for us to support our financial during studies.some of students even they already have this allowance they are lucky because their research again were support by other research grant.so, they will get another allowance every month.

For slab slai allowance,it was given by both parties which are from university and kpm.

DOCUMENTS NEED BY SLAB/SLAI CANDIDATES( TENAGA PENGAJAR MUDA)

For candidates of slab slai program.you are given a lot of documents once you got an offer.these documents need to be fill up and submit to KPM as soon as posible.here the list of documents given by KPM and some of these douments need to send back to KPM by candidates.

NEW VACANCIES AS A PART TIME LECTURER IN UITM PASIR GUDANG

Uitm pasir gudang is being established this year and start to open this coming june 2014.it was located at bandar seri alam pasir gudang johor.

The courses offer for diploma level only with certain courses.since it was new there were much numbers of staff needed especially for academic staff.since it will be open this june then the lecturer is needed urgently to fullfil the achievement of program offered.

Requirement needed:

The candidates must have degree certificate in courses as followed: mandarin,english,mathematics,physic,chemical,statistic,pendidikan islam,computer sciences and engineering courses.
